The Quest-Response Recognition Program is Back! IACP Net is rewarding one lucky member with a free trip to the 2009 IACP Conference in Denver, Colorado. To register, just respond to two Quests in our Quest/Response section every month from April through August 2009. For every month that you submit two or more responses, you’ll receive an entry into our drawing for up to $1,000 in reimbursed travel expenses and one paid conference registration, up to $350. Please log on today to assist other departments with your experiences by answering a Quest or two. For complete rules, please see the Quest-Response Recognition Program information sheet, available on the site. Apply Today for the IACP/LogIn Excellence in Victim Services Award Applications are now being accepted for the 2009 IACP/LogIn Excellence in Victim Services Award. The IACP Victim Services Committee and LogIn, Inc., created an award to honor law enforcement agencies that make exemplary efforts in providing innovative service to victims of crime. This award recognizes agencies that utilize best practices, including effective partnerships, training methods, and performance monitoring tools to place victims at the center of their problem-solving efforts. Let your community know that you place the needs of crime victims at the center of your efforts. For more information, or to apply for a nomination, visit the IACP website, e-mail Keely McCarthy, or call 800.843.4227 x810.
